The economic data on producer prices in Italy was higher than expected: +0.9% on the month of September, up 6.7% over last year.

The DAX in Frankfurt marks a rise of 0.07% at 7093 points. The market is supported by technology stocks, in line with their European counterparts, exchange all in positive terrain. Epcos marks a rise of 2.76%, Infineon (+3.36%), SAP (+0.81%), Siemens (+0.26%).
